ARTISAN GALLERY

Aimee Golant

Aimee Golant creates spiritual connection, hope, and healing  through ritual art.

Aimee is a sixth generation metal artist, a granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, and an interfaith advocate, originally from Los Angeles. Upon graduating from San Francisco State University, Aimee began her career as a metal artist, creating Judaica and jewelry. She exhibits and sells her unique metal art internationally.

Her art has been acknowledged in these humbling ways: endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and by Pope Francis; voted “Best Jewish Artisan Craftsperson in San Francisco” from the readers of the J. Jewish News Weekly; inclusion of one of Aimee’s evocative mezuzahs in the Jewish Museum of New York’s permanent collection; created the mezuzah for the front entrance of the National Museum of American Jewish History; had one of her Barbed Wire Mezuzahs travel into space on two space shuttle missions; and, commissioned to create the crown for the Women’s Torah Project, one of the first documented Torahs scribed by a community of women from around the world.

Aimee grew up, became a Bat Mitzvah and was confirmed at TIOH!  Now, she lives in San Francisco with her husband David Casella and son Kaleb.

Hannah Polskin

My work is an intersection of fine art and design which I call “livable art”

Hannah Polskin is a multidisciplinary artist and designer living and working in Los Angeles. Born in New York City and a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Hannah works at the intersection of fine art and design to create “livable art” with a freeform aesthetic that bleeds across each project. Conceptually, she’s most inspired when she’s tasked at taking over an entire space—that includes paintings, mirrors, kitchen islands, rugs, menorahs and more.

Recently, Hannah became engaged to Gil Manzuri. We welcome her to the TIOH community.
